A former Royal Marine in Kabul says he must put the cats and canine from his charity to sleep on the runway after the defence secretary mentioned he needed to “prioritise folks over pets”.
Paul ‘Pen’ Farthing, who based Nowzad, claimed the Ministry of Defence (MoD) has blocked a constitution flight he crowdfunded to fly his 69 staff and 100 animals again to the UK after the Taliban seized Afghanistan.
