A lady has been charged with murdering a three-year-old boy who was discovered with severe accidents at a house in Nottinghamshire.

Leila Picker, 22, of Major Street, Jacksdale, was arrested earlier this week.

Nottinghamshire Police had been known as to a home in Major Street, Jacksdale, on 7 August and located the boy, who was badly damage.

He was taken to hospital however died two days later.

Detective Inspector Steve Wragg, of Nottinghamshire Police, stated: “It is a tragic incident that has seen a boy lose his life.

“We have now been working arduous to ascertain the circumstances across the boy’s demise and have now charged a girl with homicide.

“We might reassure the general public that we consider the incident was remoted and contained inside a home on Major Street, and that we at the moment are not in search of anybody else as our investigation continues.

“Our ideas are with the kid’s household, who’ve requested for privateness throughout this extremely troublesome time.”

Ms Picker will seem at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court docket on Saturday.
