Trapped squirrel forces Greggs store to shut | UK Information



A very adventurous squirrel compelled a Greggs store to shut after getting trapped inside.

The animal was captured in a department of the pastry specialist in Perthshire on Saturday, and was not freed into the close by Faskally woods till Tuesday night.

Greggs’ Twitter account revealed the critter’s actions the next morning, joking there had been a “new starter” on the retailer and altering its show image to mirror.

In a thread with a whole bunch of likes, Greggs tweeted: “A few of you will have seen we had a wee new starter in Pitlochry Greggs this week.”

“Pleasant locals provided their assist to lure the Greggs Squirrel out,” the excessive road favorite mentioned, quoting a proposal to assist from a highschool “up the highway”.

Greggs posted a picture of a reputation badge made particularly for the squirrel, together with a video of its launch.
